Week 29

How far along? 29 Weeks and 1 day
Total weight gain/loss: +18 lbs
Maternity clothes?A little here and there. Still stuffing myself into my regular clothes as long as I can!
Stretch marks? None :)
Sleep: I am up about every 2 hours for bathroom breaks and just being uncomfortable. At least I'm getting prepared for when the baby arrives!
Best moment this week: My last baby check-up, and feeling baby's movements!
Miss Anything? Being comfortable while sleeping
Movement: I've gotten into counting her kicks, and she's rolling around a lot more!
Food cravings: Still pretzels and nutella! And best of all in the month of March, Shamrock shakes!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I think just getting bigger and not having a lot of room in there kind of makes my stomach upset, but not that much longer to go!
Have you started to show yet:  Oh yes! I'm not sure how I can possibly get much bigger!
Gender: A sweet baby girl :)
Labor Signs: None
Belly Button in or out? It's just hanging out, being flat
Wedding ring on or off? Still on :)
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, and sooo sleepy.
Looking forward to: Seeing friends and family and celebrating over Spring Break!

My last baby appointment was on March 5th, which went really well I suppose! I'm always caught off guard because I never realized how short the appointments really are. There's always so many questions that I go in with wanting to ask, yet I always forget what I'm wanting to ask her! But the baby and I are doing great, so it's okay! I also asked her about the ultrasound report from the radiologist. There wasn't much said, but definitely nothing to be worried about.
This week we will be going home to Michigan for Spring Break! It will be so great to see all our family and friends. It's crazy to think that this is the last time we will see them before Baby Gale arrives! It feels like it took forever to get here, but now it's amazing how there's only 11 weeks left to go!

Pink & Grey Nursery

With all the excitement of finding out we are having a baby girl, I have already been searching for how I want to decorate the nursery, updating our baby registry at Babies R Us, and finding super cute clothes and stuff I want to make for her!
At first, I wanted to go with an animal themed type nursery, but Justin and I came to agree on having a pink & grey nursery. Thanks to Pinterest, I have found a few ideas I like :)

These are my favorite styles so far! I love the variety of having different shades of pink & grey to work together, and also using different patterns like Damask and Chevron.
I've also been looking at some accessory items to get in pink & grey, and found a really cute shopping cart cover!

Found on Etsy.com by PracticalDesigns
Our original goal was to get the bigger baby items, such as crib, high chair, travel system and so on, in a gender neutral color, but after looking back over our registry, I've noticed we've picked out a lot of items that have more boy colors in it.  So I think with simple items like the shopping cart cover would be really easy to switch out the pink color in the future if we have a boy next time :)

Although we ruled out having a animal themed nursery, I really do love these pink & grey elephant and owl decor and clothing items.

Since we are moving back home for the summer, then finding a place for the fall with hopefully two new teaching jobs *crosses fingers*, we will have to wait to decorate our own nursery until we move. But that gives us more time to find/get everything we want for it :)

Daddy has also been searching for cute things to get our little girl!

Looking forward to: MAY!

It finally happened! On Wednesday, February 27th we had an ultrasound that made sure the baby was developing okay and healthy looking, and we now know little baby Gale is a GIRL!! Our ultrasound Technician did have a difficult time seeing since the baby's legs we together pretty close, however, she did say she was 90% sure the baby is a girl, and that's good enough for us! We always had a hunch she was a girl to begin with anyway :) All or at least most of our dreams about the baby have been about a girl, and we've just had that feeling inside that it was. So, I am sooo excited to start buying pink stuff, head bands, and nursery decor!
The most amazing part about our ultrasound was that we got to see a good view of her face. Words can't describe how excited we are to see her, hold her and just love her for the rest of our lives. We already love her so much!

We already have a name picked out, however, as I've mentioned before, we will be keeping the name to ourselves to surprise everyone when she is born. I will tell you our top three names are: Peyton, Allison (Ali), or Zoey.
