Total weight gain/loss: +13 lbs

Maternity clothes? Will be getting more soon! I need it!

Stretch marks? Nope

 Sleep: Sleep is a little difficult due to stomach pains

Best moment this week: Feelings baby move around like CRAZY!
Miss Anything? Having my stomach not hurt all the time
Movement: A lot of that has been going on!
Food cravings: No new cravings lately

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!

Have you started to show yet:  Yes, and I'm growing out of my clothes quickly!

Gender: Still unknown

Labor Signs: None

Belly Button in or out? It's just hanging in there! Still not out yet

Wedding ring on or off? Still on :)

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, with some stressed/moody moments

Looking forward to: Finding cute maternity clothes! But most importantly, baby clothes too!!!

Well it has been quite an interesting two weeks. I skipped updating last week since there wasn't much news to report in hopes that this week we would have a lot of information, however, it hasn't worked out as planned. So far, in the past two weeks, we have had three of our ultrasound appointments cancelled/rescheduled. It has been a very frustrating/disappointing time, but there hasn't been much we can do about it. They have given us another time and day to go, but it is just best to not expect it and tell everyone when it is at this point. Whenever it happens it will happen. 

In a few weeks we will be heading home to Michigan for Spring Break, and we will definitely be busy almost the whole time we are there! Between traveling to visit family/friends, finding a Pediatrician, having a baby shower among other appointments/events, I hope to find the time to do some baby shopping/nursery decorating!

Week 24

How far along? 24 Weeks and 2 day

Maternity clothes? Here and there
Stretch marks? No

 Sleep: Weird dreams, and bathroom breaks!

Best moment this week: Discussing baby names and God Parents!
Miss Anything? Not feeling like I'm going to explode!
Movement: OH yes :) All the time
Food cravings: Chocolate anything!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing!

Have you started to show yet: Absolutely!

Gender: Finding out VERY soon!!!

Labor Signs: Not at all

Belly Button in or out? Just still hanging in there. Not out yet!

Wedding ring on or off? Still on :)

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, aside from work-related moodiness!

Looking forward to: TUESDAY!

 

I really wanted to take the risk and make a chalkboard design this week to announce that we WILL find out next week the gender of Baby Gale!

Our next baby appointment, Tuesday the 12th, will be the "BIG" half way appointment. I'll be checked for Gestational Diabetes, have a physical, AND most of all have another ultrasound!! I'm absolutely positive that Baby Gale has developed well enough by now since our last ultrasound to get a definite answer on the gender.

Although, I feel like it would still be okay if we couldn't find out, I think once we do it will make things feel even more real. We'll get to start buying gender specific things, pick out a name/middle name, and well... just get to plan for what we have in store for the rest of our lives! :) 

Justin and I have been discussing for a while baby names and God Parents. It's so hard to just pick one! We've told a lot of family and friends the names that we have in mind, however, I'm thinking we are going to keep the official name just between the two of us until Baby Gale arrives. That's something special for him and I to just hold on to, and surprise everyone else when the baby is here. 

If we can handle keeping it to ourselves! :)

Week 23

How far along? 23 Weeks and 3 day

Total weight gain/loss: +10 lbs

Maternity clothes? Occasionally wearing maternity clothes
Stretch marks? None!
Sleep: Although I'm getting a good nights sleep, I still am pretty tired after getting out of work, so I get a few naps in here and there

Best moment this week: Just feeling baby move :)
Miss Anything? Sleeping on my stomach!
Movement: Lots of movement, and I can slightly see the movement too!
Food cravings: Definitely still chocolate milk! annnnnnd that's about it for the most recent cravings

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing at all!

Have you started to show yet: Yup, I'm definitely rocking the pregnant belly and lovin' it!

Gender: Still unknown
Labor Signs: Nope, too soon for that!

Belly Button in or out? Just kind of doing this flat thing for right now!

Wedding ring on or off? Still on :)

Happy or Moody most of the time: Very happy, with some moodiness added in here and there.

Looking forward to: Our next appoint on Feb. 12th!

Not much to update on this week, although we are just enjoying feeling the baby move around, and I'm trying to get the right time for when Justin can see the movement! While relaxing over the weekend at home, I got to watch my belly twitch a little from the baby moving! 

I wanted to include Justin while creating this week's chalkboard, so I wrote about how he can feel the baby moving! Next time, we'll have to get a picture of the both of us for the update :)

Other than that, we have just been working and relaxing, spending time with some friends and eating lots of yummy foods (my favorite part!) for Super Bowl Sunday. Now that I feel like a complete rolley-polley from all the food, it is time to go into hibernation mode! 

Only 8 more days until our next appointment! :)

I just can't wait for the baby to be here already!!!
